ILCBA was proud to be a Silver Sponsor at two recent events organized to benefit two important causes, the Justice John Paul Stevens Awards on October 7^th, and the Lawyer Assistance Program's (LAP) dinner on October 8^th. In attendance at the JPS Awards, representing ILCBA, was Keith Barnstein, Chair of its Education Committee.

The JPS Award is presented to IL lawyers and judges whose careers best emulate Justice Stevens’ integrity, legacy of service to the bench, the bar, and the CBA, as well as commitment to public and community service. The Lawyers’ Assistance Program helps Illinois lawyers, judges, law students, and their families concerned about alcohol abuse, drug dependency, or stress related issues like anxiety, burnout, depression, and many others.
